These lights are stinky. They're made out of polyurethene that dried in this really beautiful way over the course of ??? years. I found it at the warehouse I was living at and made all the fragments into a lamp. Then I tried to recreate it with freshly dried polyurethane and other equally toxic finishes, which never really worked as well. Looking back, I don't know why the hell I didn't care about using such a god awful material.
